About Marketing Consultant Karen Stinson
Company President, Karen Stinson is the recipient of several national and international awards, including the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) Maple Leaf award – the premier marketing award in the Canadian Shopping centre industry; and the ICSC’s Maxi Merit award – a coveted international marketing award. She has over 19 years experience developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans and strategies for enclosed shopping centres, strip malls, independent retailers, the travel and tourism industry, a community healthcare facility, a career college, and not-for-profit organizations. Marketing plans include brand marketing, target marketing, and niche marketing tailored to specific industries and businesses.
Karen has been instrumental in spearheading a number of community initiatives including “Christmas Magic”, Cobourg’s spectacular winter festival of lights, “First Night” New Year’s Eve celebration and “Shop Locally”, a provincial and national award-winning campaign to call attention to the important economic impact of supporting local business.
She has coordinated many community-focused promotions and special events, successfully raising awareness and funds for organizations such as the Breakfast For Learning program, Chris Garrett Memorial Park, Northumberland United Way, Northumberland Services for Women and Northumberland Hills Hospital.
In2marketing is located in Cobourg, Ontario and serves Cobourg, Port Hope Northumberland County, as well as the Durham, Quinte and Kawartha Regions.
